MT TAMBORINE SEED SAVERS

Our main activity is packing seeds for The Seed Savers' Network which we have been doing for six years.

Regular meetings:

Between ten and twenty of us meet at one another's houses every first and third Thursday of the month. Seed Savers sends us the bulk seeds with a record of their viability and the test date. We write on the packets the name, number and viability of each variety and put a certain number of seeds in each packet.

Each year late August/ early September is our Garden Festival and our seed saving group has a presence there.

Future plans:

We hope to have a stall selling seeds and seedlings at the local producers market in the future. We particularly would like more members who produce seeds.
